About this event
The LWV Chaffee COunty will host a Holiday Potluck in the Pinon Room (west side) at the BV Community Center. Joseph Drexler, National Civics Bee Finalist, BVHS Freshman, is the speaker. We have also invited Lisa Yates, the superintendent of the BV School District, and the local 8th-grade teachers supporting the Civics Bee. Please bring a hearty appetizer, salad or dessert to share and table service. Drinks will be provided. Please RSVP to Jan Scar by December 8th so we have enough chairs to welcome everyone. Those wanting to carpool from the southern area of Chaffee County should contact Carol Merovka for meeting place and time. I know you will enjoy hearing from Joseph about his idea for our community and his experience in Washington, D.C with the Civics Bee. Come meet new folks and join us for the fun!!
