The National Popular Vote Plan:  What is it? How does it Work?

Should the majority of voters pick the President?  Has the electoral college become a problem?  The National Popular Vote (NPV) plan guarantees election of the presidential candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Join us on Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30-7:00 at Sangre de Cristo Electric Cooperative at 29780 US Hwy 24 N, Buena Vista for an evening with Sylvia Bernstein, the co-chair of the Colorado National Vote.  She will discuss how the national popular vote plan works, why it matters and the current status of the legislation both in Colorado and the nation.  Join us for this timely presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask your questions and discuss the issues around this bipartisan plan to move away from the electoral college to a popular vote for president.  Free drinks and appetizers.
