Join us for the National kick-off pep rally event for our People Powered Day of Action! The rally hosted by LWV CEO Virginia Kase starts 10 am ET on Thursday, April 29.
This day is a call to action by the League of Women Voters
as we work to ensure that the public's voice is heard
and the new redistricting maps are drawn fairly using 2020 census data.
Colorado now has two independent redistricting commissions,
one for Congressional Districts and one for Legislative Districts, balanced with Democratic, Republican, and unaffiliated appointees.
Remember that both commissions will need public input
as part of their redistricting process in 2021.
The League of Women Voters works to oppose
extreme political gerrymandering, partisan redistricting,
and voter suppression efforts.
