This monthly meeting program will focus on the topic of combatting disinformation. The presentation is at 12:00 noon preceded by the monthly meeting, 11:15-12:00. The program will be presented by Truth Has a Voice Foundation/Ark Valley Voice Publisher and Managing Editor Jan Wondra and Ark Valley Voice Investigative Reporter Stephen Hall. "In an era where questions are being raised about trust in our system of justice and our elections, it is more important than ever for people to have the tools to discern the accuracy, context, and factual basis for the information they are consuming on social media, and from news sources about candidates and issues," says Wondra. The upcoming 2023 consolidated election is less than 70 days away. The CCLWV selected this program as preparation for the upcoming elections in the county.
