LWV Chaffee County monthly meeting will feature the subject of Affordable Housing. Guest speakers: Ashley Kappel, Executive Director for Chaffee Housing Authority, Joel Benson, Planning Director for the Town of BV, Bill Almquist, Community Development Director for Salida. The subject for the panel: Options and upcoming opportunities in affordable housing. Panel questions to include the status of new developments, future plans for the county's towns, and solutions to the ongoing affordable housing shortages.
